As Associate Director for Administration, Ms. Kilmartin oversees all Wadsworth Center administrative functions, including human resources, budgeting across 12 funding sources, purchasing and travel, extramural grants administration, contract execution, internal controls, and compliance with Center and Department administrative policies.

Ms. Kilmartin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta and an MBA from The College of Saint Rose. She joined the Wadsworth Center in 2016 as a Fiscal Analyst, managing Center-wide funding while developing expertise in procurement and contract processes. In 2019, she became Division Administrator for the Division of Laboratory Quality Certification and subsequently assumed administrative responsibility for the Divisions of Environmental Health Sciences, Laboratory Operations, Translational Medicine, and the Director’s Office. As staffing needs evolved, her leadership role expanded to include oversight of Biggs Administration and the Fiscal Procurement Unit.

Prior to joining the Wadsworth Center, Ms. Kilmartin worked at General Electric, collaborating with actuaries to value pension plan liabilities before transitioning into Compensation and Pay, where she partnered with business units to develop compensation plans.
